Using my DataGrid's sort event when a lick button is clicked..


I am not quite sure how achieve this scenario:

I have a data grid with column headers not showing in the grid, rather
they're being displayed in a placeholder above the grid as link buttons
(this so I can scroll through a data grid and the headers are static).
Anways, I've gotten my control to work except I want to maintain a sort
ability. For this reason I want my link button's click event to fire
the data grid's sort event. I'm not sure how to make that work. What I
have done so far is create a new LinkButton type that inherits a
typical link button and adds a property "SortExpression" just like a
data grid would have. It is essential to maintain the sort expression.
Now that i'm at this point would I have my new LinkButton type have a
new event such as the DataGridSortCommandHandler/Args????
