about new versions of visual studio

I have a visual studio.net which was released I think in 2001 year.
I'm coding on C#.

It's OK but what I'm confused - there is not so much components in
toolbox as in Delphi f.e.

The question is - is that sad situation continues whith fresh releases
of visual studio or not?

Not all of the available controls/components are available by default, as
they are in Delphi. Right click on the toolbox->add/remove components and
you will see all the controls installed with Visual Studio.

The next Visual Studio 2005 is going to offer many new components
(forWindows as well as for Web applications).
