A strong name under a 64bit processor?

I tried to create a strong keyname pair for my new project under my
newly installed windows 2003 (32 bit version) using VS 2003/NET and
also using 2005 Beta2 and using the "sn -k filename.snk" and the VS2005
version of "sn -k 512 filename.snk" caused my system to shoot to 100%
cpu use.

I let the process run for a good 10 minutes to see what would happen
and nada. I then copied sn.exe to my p3 laptop and ran "sn -k" and had
a valid key in 3 seconds flat.

Is there a known issue of generating keys with sn under an AMD64?

Sorry, I can't answer that. But it works fine on mine.

I've found the issue. I'm running PGP 9.0.1 enterprise and when PGP is
running, the SN utility cannot generate a valid key combination. Once
I shutdown PGP services, SN is able to do it's job in about 1/2 a
second. Something in PGP is preventing SN from doing it's job and
since PGP charges money just to tell them something is wrong with their
program it will probably never be fixed.
