How to Create a Performance Alert..

Hello Friends,
i have been working for a long time trying to create a System Performance
Alert, but failed....

i was trying with PerformanceCounter Class, but it only get values...
and tried the PerformanceCounterCategory class too, but it create a new
counter...

what i want is to create alort object wich can fire when a performance
ccounter exceeds a certain limit value, such as when a processor time get
over 20%....

Please help Me......
