Kerem,
Unless you have an MSDN subscription, you can not get a copy of the beta
for Vista.
However, you can take advantage of some of the new technologies that
were originally Vista-only technologies, i.e. Indigo (now the Windows
Communications Foundation) and Avalon (now the Windows Presentation
Foundation). These can now both be run on XP machines. You can download
the runtime components from (watch for line wrap):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
You can also download the SDK from (watch for line wrap):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Hope this helps.

Hi,
i know, that this is the wrong newsgroup, but i am sure that us
developers have the information i am looking for.
how can i get a windows vista beta 1 without msdn subscribtion?
can it be ordered from microsoft, or are there any alternative
download or shipping methods? The Problem is, that i am not
a msdn subscriber and downloading it from ms requires it!
I am highly interested in the new technologies and features it offers.
I already have a detailed background on things like WinFX and misc.
but now i want to find out how it works in real life!
Thanks in davance...
Best Regards
