Two TextBoxes One ComboBox, It Can't be this Difficult

Hello all:

I think I have tried almost every avenue under the sun to get this to
work but to no avail. I have one table, this table has an id column, a
last_name column, and a first_name column. I have a DataSet that has
been populated with this data and then set as the DataSource for the
ComboBox. I have set databindings on the two textboxes and combobox so
that when a selection of a last_name is made in the combobox the last
name and first name of that person are displayed in the textboxes. This
works fine but once I move away from the combobox and give focus to one
of the textboxes the last name and first name are overridden by another
value.

I have tried using the CurrencyManager and I do set it to the correct
position but the text is still overridden.

All I want to do is have a combobox that the user uses to select a last
name and then have the last name and first name of that person show up
in the textboxes so that changes can be made.

Any help is appreciated.
