EventLogEntry.Index : this number is not necessarily zero based... ???

Hi,

That's what MicroSoft says about it. On the one hand it offers you an index
(apparently into the EventLogEntryCollection) but you can't be sure as to
which element you are retrieving!? As a side-problem I can't seem to
retrieve the entry with the highest index: "array out of bounds". Does
anybody know how to interprete the use of this Index ??

Thanks.
