listbox

is there a way to programmatically unselect (unhighlight) an item in the
listbox without selecting (highlighting) another? in other words, no item is
selected (highlighted). thanks.

Sure. Set the SelectedIndex to -1 to clear all selections. Set it to a
valid value in the list to select an item.
