Q for owner of this NG

Hello,
Where can I find old postings as when I try to access them using outlook I
get following msg.
Message is no longer available on the server
Outlook Express is unable to retrieve the requested message because the
server no longer has the message available.

google groups maintains indefinite archieves, so you can look there.

Annother option would be to download all the message bodies autmoatically
when you sync. You might need a nonMS reader though, I haven't tried outlook
but OE has a really annoying 'feature' where it deletes messages out of your
local store once they've been deleted from the nntp server. Since OE gets
increasingly slow as message counts in a group increase beyond several
thousand I know why it does it, but it's an ugly hack and unneeded with
better design. (I played with Xnews a while back and it had no trouble
storing groups with ~50k posts a piece so I know it's possible)
