Need help with binding

Due to what I would call a bug in VS (Whidbey), you can't have a textbox
bound to an integer column. If you do, you can never wipe out the number in
the textbox. When you try to, VS won't let the focus leave that field until
you type in some number.

I can get around it by manually changing the binding on the textbox like so:

txtTitle.DataBindings[0].NullValue = string.Empty;

What I would like to know is, is it possible to subclass the textbox and
build this behaviour in by default in my own custom control? What would be
the best way to code it?

TIA,

Mike Rodriguez
