invoking user defined functions

FC
Hi all:
I have created the following function on a MS SQL server 2k, the
database name is spjdatabase:

ALTER function dbo.jsp (@snum varchar(5), @pnum varchar (5)) returns
table as
return (select spj.J#,J.CITY,J.JNAME,QTY from spj INNER JOIN j on spj.S#
= @snum and spj.P# = @pnum and J.J# = SPJ.J#)

I need to invoke this function within C# but I do not have the know how
to do it. I searched all over the net to find relevant information to no
avail. One of my only two books in the subject has only one useless page
on this issue, the other has nothing. I need to retrieve the data and do
a screen printout but I have no idea where to begin. Please point me in
the right direction. Also web tutorials are welcome. Thanks in advance.
