Reading http header

My application uses http authorization header to store authentication
information (a serial number). I developed a class (derived from
IHttpModule) and deployed on my webserver. The following is part of the
code:

public void OnAuthenticateRequest(object obj, EventArgs eventArgs)
{
HttpApplication app = (HttpApplication)obj;
string authdata = app.Request.Headers["Authorization"];
}

authdata is always null. Anything wrong ?
