Detect when a workstation is locked

Hi, There are anyway to detect when a workstation is locked like does the
MSN Messenger that set the status to "Be Right Back" when the workstation is
locked ? Some API ?

AFAIK there is no an easy way of doing it , take a look at the login
notification packages.

also a google search will turn some pieces of cde, I tried to do this once
but I had to move on before getting to it.
