Hi there
Yesterday i installed Visual Studio c# express edition and had a strange
error when running my solution.
1 single line caused an exception in VS2005 and not in VS2003
dv.RowFilter="substring(DiveDate, 7, 4)='"+year+"'";
in VS2005 i got this exception 'Syntax error: Missing operand after '4'
operator.'
Nowhere on the net could i find an explenation so i started to play around:
dv.RowFilter="substring(DiveDate,7,4)='"+year+"'";
gave en' Invalid number of arguments: function substring(). '
But this works:
dv.RowFilter="substring(DiveDate,7 ,4 )='"+year+"'"; Works
Does anyone have an explanation for this ?
