Datagrid with CollectionBase

I have some objects that inherit from CollectionBase. I can use these objects
as DataSources for the Windows DataGrid. I notice that it is the properties
of the collection's Items base type that show up as the columns in the
DataGrid. How can I predict and or change the order of these columns? Any
help is appreciated in advance.
