C# and MFC SendMessage problem

Hi,
I have an MFC application that activates a C# dialog. From the dialog I
SendMessage to the application CMainFrame window.
I see that the application receives the message via the Spy++, but it
does not reach the PreTranslateMessage for some reason. What is going
on?
Thanks for your help
