MessageBox corruption

Hi,

I'm experiencing a very strange problem with popping a MessageBox in a C#
WinForms app, whereby the message text and the button text do not display.
I'm using a Dell OptiPlex with on-board Intel graphics chip, and have
downloaded and installed the latest drivers etc. Same with the latest SP of
WinXP Pro.

Curiously enough, if I run a .vbs file just with the line MsgBox "Hello",
that displays correctly.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Any assistance gratefully received.

Best regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Well, you might want to install the latest patch of your McAffee Virusscan and perhaps disable its buffer overrun checking.

Let me guess, McAfee Anti-Virus 8.whatever, correct?
Go to the McAfee web site and download the patch they have provided to
correct the problem.
