Panel control in Winform

I'm writing a Winform app which has a tab control in the main Window.
In each page in the tab, I like to host a panel control which may
contain an edit or grid control.

First, is that the right approach to having multiple controls in a tab
page? Second, Are there any samples as to how to write such app?

I appreciate your help.
