I'm not too familar with that area of DirectX but I'd start with the
DirectShow SDK.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...svbappdevs.asp
DirectShow® includes a collection of components, referred to as Microsoft®
TV Technologies, which simplifies the development of television applications
that are based on the next generation of digital TV tuner cards supporting
the new Broadcast Driver Architecture (BDA). The Microsoft TV Technologies
APIs are part of DirectShow and are accessible through C++ as well as Visual
Basic®, Visual Basic Scripting Edition, or Microsoft JScript®.
For more information on Microsoft TV Technologies, see Microsoft TV
Technologies in the Microsoft DirectX® documentation.

This stuff is scant for sure. All I know is they have buttered their bread
on both sides; SBC to borg those with DSL and Comcast for the cable.

news:11**********************@g44g2000cwa.googlegr oups.com...I have been trying very hard at finding details into Microsoft TV
development tools. I was mainly interested in finding if the support is
for both C++ and C# and to try at the downloads of MS TV Content
designer, TV SDK, TV Toolkit for VS.
But I am totally unable to get some tangible information either at MS
site or elsewhere on net.
Can somebody who has worked in MS TV IDEs throw some pointers?
Thanks.
