Wrox rocks... Their "Professional C#" is excellent. I have many of
their other books for other languages, so I imagine the "Beginning C#"
is pretty good also. I also have "The Complete Reference for C#" which
is ok as a reference but not so good for learning, and Dietel's "C# for
Experienced Programmers" was a big disappointment.

The best C# book I've ever seen is
http://www.murach.com/books/cshp

But note: this is only for beginners!

If you are a REAL beginner, "Programming in the Key of C#" by Charles
Petzold is a great start. It will give you a firm grounding in the
language, but sticks to Console applications for the sake of
simplicity. Otherwise, you cannot beat Murach's "C#." Its Windows
program oriented (probably what you want) and covers up to database
programming and a bit beyond. If you are going to buy ONE book, buy
this one.

Would this book still be relevant for version 2.0?

Thanks .

Only now I saw your replies , I've already ordered "Teach Yourself the C#
language
in 21 days" by SAMS . Hope it's good . (I know programming and C/C++
and
have experience in VB6) .
