Better IDE Font

I just had a harder-than-it-should-have-been time finding a bug. I used a
brace where I should have used a parenthesis. Is there a font similar to
Courier New but makes more visual distinction between (){}?

Thanks.

I really like (and have used for a long time) the "Raize Font" - free
from here:

http://www.raize.com/DevTools/Tools/RzFont.asp

It's specifically designed to be easily readable, especially also for
presentations and demos infront of a live audience.

Thanks for the recommendations.

There is an interesting discussion on the same topic here.
http://discuss.joelonsoftware.com/de...?joel.3.112216

Some people recommended proportional fonts. ;-)
