Help Downloading Newsgroups

Hi everyone,

I've just finished formatting and reinstalling my o/s. Is there a way of
downloading past news post older than the last 2 days? It seems that when I
sign back up for these groups I only get the past two days.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I think that depends on your nntp server. Some (like mine) archive
forever, while some only keep a few days worth. But there's always
groups.google.com

If you are going against msnews, you should have more than 2 days for
sure. This maybe a setting in your news reader. I believe some
versions of oe read only latest 300 or so entries as per settings. Play
around with the settings before downloading.
