AutoScroll scrollbars

Okay, a simple question I hope. Is there an event which is triggered whenever
the AutoScroll scroll bars appear / disappear on a ScrollableControl? If
there isn't an event dedicated to this (and I'm pretty sure there isn't)
which event would be best to use, and how can I determine whether the scroll
bars are visible or not?

Thanks in advance
