Datagrid control TableStyles

Hi,
I am using tablestyles to format my datagrid (windows forms) and wish to
create a custom gridcolumstyle where i get the actual displayed value (or
mappingname equivalent? (TextBox.Text)) is from another variable - not from
the database (i.e not a column name). Can I do this with tablestyles, if not
what would you all advise?
