If you have a gripe with Microsoft's documentation, there are several ways
to submit corrections and suggestions to Microsoft.
Cross-posting to unrelated newsgroups is not considered good netiquette.
I'm sorry if you find my answer "wise", but I think you will find that many
here would find your question and the manner in which you posted it
inappropriate.
While we are happy to help where we can...it is reasonable to expect that
the question asker will take some responsibility and some initiative for
finding the answer on their own. Asking "Is there any updated version
(.Net) of the Datarepeater control or do I have to use the old (VS6.0)
version?" sounds a lot to me like you haven't even tried to examine this
issue on your own. Cross-posting it to every .NET NG you can find is not
necessary and considered rude.

Thanks a lot, wise guy. As there was no 'professional' answer on any of
the
groups where I have cross-posted, I did search on Google. It took me a
while
but now it's clear. There is no dotNet version of the Datarepeater
control.
The Repeater control is a brand new control, available only in Webforms.
As
there was no way to use the Datarepeater on the web, your kind answer that
points to the Repeater is useless. But thanks anyway.
I did cross-post since it is my opinion that MS should have provided that
information in a discontinued controls list or something.
These docs should have contained this kind of information:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...bleobjects.asp
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ualBasic70.asp
The solution could be the Datagrid.
Thanks.

question? A simple Google search on ".net repeater" yields what you are
looking for.
