How to reset Router by programing?

How to reset Router by programing?

For some resean, we need usually reset our Router.
Now, we have to Reset Router manually(shot down and reopen).

Are there any method to control and reset Router by programing ?

I used to be able to control one of our routers using a serial port, but I
don't remember the protocol or router model. Each router manufacturer seems
to have different access points, have you checked your router manual?

Open a socket

Send the command as a byte stream, wait for response.

Look at sample code for implementing a ftp socket and you might get some
ideas.
