Help files

Hi there,

This might be a little off-topic here but can some simply tell me what the
current standard is for creating context sensitive help for my app
(presumably using the "Help" class). Should I be researching ".chm" files
for instance and what tools for authoring the help should I investigate. If
someone can simply point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

HTML Help is the general name used. Nothing much has changed for many years.
Look for HTML Help on Microsoft's website. They have a free authoring tool.
There are commercial tools available too. I use one from Innovasys.

Ok, thanks. Note that things have changed in Vista but I'm still targetting
the status quo (XP, etc.)

Also check out helpware.net. I couldn't remeber the address last night when
I posted. It has good information.
