CurrencyManager events

I'm going through Kilani's 70-316 prep book and currently on the topic of
CurrencyManager. Specifically, I've written a little form that wires up the
CurrentChanged, ItemChanged, and PositionChanged events.

I get the CurrentChanged and PositionChanged events when I move from one
element of the array to another, as expected, but that's it. For example, I
never get the CurrentChanged when I alter the text in a bound textbox, as I
think I should.

Is this a known problem, am I not understanding things correctly, or do I
likely have something wrong in the code?
