Q: Executing sqlCommand under a Windows Service, not possible?

P: n/a
Hi!

I am trying to create a service that will maintain a database in SQL Server.

Using a sqlConnection and a sqlCommand. When executing
sqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery. It totaly hangs, and i have to stop the
service...

Is there any security issues, what users should run the service, any special
account on the server, sql server...

Any tip, ideas, links would be highly appreciated....

Thanx
Martin

How are you performing authentication - passthrough or supplying a user and password?
