Communicate between controls.

Hi. Can someone tell me the proper way to communicate between controls on a
form? I have two TreeView controls (each on a separate panel). I'd like to
copy a node (by double clicking the mouse) from the source treeview to the
target treeview. I have a class that handles all the events of the source
treeview control. Currently, I am passing a structure into this class which
contains a reference to each treeview on the form. This seems to be a poor
method. Can the events of the two treeviews somehow communicate the data
from the source to the target treeviews?
