2 buttons and a textfield

On an aspx-webform I want to fill a (html)textfield or (html)label with a
number, todays day.
I need 2 buttons, one + and one - to add 1 and subtract 1 to the field.
Then I need to add the dayfield to a sql-database.

I mean is this for a homework project from a course at school?

If it is, I will offer guidance. If not, I can provide code samples.

There are some who come here asking questions and looking for code snippets
that they can cut and paste into their homework.

They learn nothing that way. I want to ensure that I am not "giving"
someone the answers to their homework questions.
