RSACryptoServiceProvider public/private key

Does anyone know anything detailed about what happens when you declare a
new instance of RSACryptoServiceProvider?

ie

//Create a new RSACryptoServiceProvider object.
RSACryptoServiceProvider RSA = new RSACryptoServiceProvider();

There is some documentation that states that a new public/private key
are generated for each new instance but not much else! I have examined
the Modulus for several instances of RSACryptoServiceProvider and they
appear different but how does this class simply 'generate' a new pair?

More importantly, is there a finite number that it generates? Is there a
small subset that would contain all possible keys that this method could
return?
