Socket Handle Question

Hi

I have a windows service that opens a socket. When data is received on the
port, an event is fired, invoking another assembly to read the port data. In
the class that is reading the port data, I need to send a message back along
the existing socket connection.

How would I go about doing this? My first thoughts are to pass a HandleRef
hr = new HandleRef(socket, socket.Handle) in the event arguments, so that the
port data reading class can use the existing socket. Any ideas greatly
appreciated.
