Obfuscators

Hi
I am interested to see the opinions on the various Obfuscators available.
Some seem to be very expensive... are they that much better?? Are there any
free ones (other than the VS included one), how does this compare to
others??

Any views appreciated.

Thanks

I recall an interesting discussion about this awhile ago:
http://blogs.msdn.com/ericgu/archive.../24/79236.aspx

Some points to consider:

MS doesn't obfuscate its core assemblies.
In the EU it's LEGAL to reverse engineer code!
There already exists a strong legal system of IP protection: uspto.gov.

ok,
