Looking for Internet Componets : anything comparable to IP Works ?

Looking for Internet Componets : anything comparable to IP Works?

Hi,

I need a suite of components that provided me with SMPT, POP3, NNTP,
Telnet and Ping protocols.

I have been looking and found "IP works" actuallly works very well,
just it is a bit pricey ($400.00).

Indy seems to work to, but they're unable to provide samples in C#.
Any other recomendation ?

I don't think you are going to find a TCP/IP component suite product for
less than that.

There is a sourceforge project but it's still pre-alpha:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/inetcommlib/

ok,
aq

Indy might support much of what you need. Its written in delphi and (last I
looked) isn't the greatest on clean interop, but it is functionality heavy
and there is a .NET version.

For POP3 and SMTP try using this library:

Or, maybe try the classes at the Indy Project:
