RegistryKey.GetValue not returning the value for REG_QWORD type

Hi,

I am facing problem in retriving value of a registry key where the value is
of type REG_QWORD.

Below is the code snipet i am trying with:
RegistryKey reg = Registry.CurrentUser;
regKeyTools = reg.OpenSubKey(@"MynewKey\qword");
object val = regKeyTools.GetValue("qvalue");

where qvalue is of type REG_QWORD.

Note: Same code works if the value if type string, DWORd or Binary.

Please let me know if i am missing something.

Regards,
Abhijit

As far as I know you got it right. I have run across the same thing. Have
you had any luck getting it to work? I have even tried using the
RegOpenKey/RegQueryValue API (which i guess should work), but had no luck
with any retrieval. I ran accross info saying that .NET version 2.0 supports
it.
