.NET Default runtime [???]

Hi,

I am playing around with the managed DirectX samples, of some reason they
all crush with a file not found exception, my guess is that I have installed
the new beta version of the .NET Framework v2.0 ( in addition to the v1.1
which was installed afterward ), and this is the default runtime.
If my assumption is true is it possible to define the default runtime? (
machine.config ??? )
Shouldn't the runtime version of the assembly be kept as part of it's
meta-data ( in the metadata header of the '.text' section )?
What else could be the problem? whay those samples doesn't run???

What "file not found" is the key to solve your problem, not the runtime. Did
you install the managed DX framework? (search for in Managed DirectX under
Microsoft.NET).

Try referencing the Microsoft DirectX namespaces explicitly in your project
and then building. If that fails you may have to locate the
Micorsoft.DirectX.dll's and copy and paste them to your executing directory.

ok,
