ListView control sorting

Hi!

I am using listview control having 4 columns.
I want it to behave in a similar manner as the details view of windows
explorer.
i.e it should sort on all the columns and all the columns should have the
functionality to move horizontally (horizontal order of the columns)
for this I am using Listview class .
I reffred to MSDN and included a class which implements the
System.Collections.IComparer interface that performs the ListViewItem

Now sorting is working fine but when we change the column order and then
click column header for sorting, the original order of columns is restored.
Why is this happening? What am i doing wrong or what am i missing?
Any suggestions or help will be appreciated

I am listing the peice of code below.
listViewDetails.ListViewItemSorter = New
ListViewItemCompareA(e.Column)

listViewDetails.Sorting = SortOrder.Ascending

listViewDetails.Sort()

I think i have been able to explain the problem , if not pls do let me know
