I've implemented all the COM interfaces prescribed by the msdn article on
the subject. All of my customisations work. I can get dotnet widgets and
even my own derivatives to instantiate in the hosted browser. But mouse
interaction or shutdown results in the framework having conniptions. Oddly
keyboard interaction is fine.
I tried simpler controls. No luck. Then I tried using IE rather than the
embedded browser - and everything works. So installing my form as the
IOleClientSite is causing the problem (yes I checked, if I disable
customisation the hosted goodies work fine.)
Please don't tell me I'm startrekking again. (Boldly [stupidly?] going where
no man has gone before...)
