SELECT ON A DATA GRID NOT RESPONDING

I am sending a message to a text box when the select button is clicked on a
data grid but the message doesn't appear. The text box is set to visible. The
select button is in a button column created with the property builder. The
event handler is there. It is the same as other event handlers on this oage
for other data grids. The only difference between this data grid and the
others is this one is populated from selections made on the form and the
others are populated when the form is opened.

GETTING DESPERATE.
