TreeView troubles

Alrighty here is the situation. I have a tree view that I do not want
any node to be selected upon loading of the form. (The nodes are
loaded programmatically during the loading of the form) The problem
with this is that when I go to select a tree node to load up its sub
nodes I need to select it twice because on the first click the old node
is supposedly still selected.
Does anyone know how to get over this hurdle?
