A question about software design...

Hi,
I'm working on a project that involves keeping journals from rehabilitation
work.
The program is really data oriented and all data is stored in xml.
A part of the data is stored as Question/Answer pairs with some additional
data that
I have created a usercontrol for. The software generates a list of those
controls so it's
pretty much like the repeater class in asp.net.
What I want to do is to use a similar databinding as I do with the repeater
class.
To have some kind of container class with a DataSource property and a
DataBind() method
that does the work automagically and databinds every usercontrol so that the
underlying data
is kept in sync with the one that's presented.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do that kind of stuff?
Does anyone have any thoughts about things to consider perfomance wise too?

Btw... I'm new to these newsgroups, what does ppl think about crossposting?
Thought that maybe I'd post in dotnet.framework or maybe in framework.adonet
too.

Thanks in advance
/Mats
