Joey server using jabber protocol

I'm doing a messenging program using jabber protocols and sockets i. I'm
using the jabber library written in C# and using the Joey server in VB.NET. I
keep getting this error :

ERROR BINDING TO PORT 5222 [12/9/2004 12:42:20 PM] The certificate cannot be
set to a null reference when creating a server socket.

Is there anyone out there doing the same thing with Jabber and Joey? I
really need help here. What is meant by the " certificate" in the error
message ? How can I debug my program ? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
