Need some help! -- With Jessy Liberty's ASP.NET book

If someone has studied the book, could he or she
then please tell me how to paste an example, eg.
4-1 on pages 81-2, into Visual Studio .NET and
make it run? The closest I got to running it was to
produce a bunch of errors.

Many thanks.

Hello Zach,

What are those "bunch of errors"? If you want to be good at ASP .NET or any
technology, you should analyze those bunch of errors and try to resolve them.
After all, it may be missing a reference to an assembly. It may look a bunch
of errors, but fixing one thing can fix them all.

You are absolutely right, only some books are such a didactical disaster
that one is unable to do so. (I must say I was surprised, having read
other books published by O'Reilly, which were good.)

While I am not sure if this is true in this case , most books have a link to
a web site where you can copy the samples. I have always found that typing
in the examples is both error prone and time consuming.

Check at the beginning or end and I will be you will find a web site with
the examples.

The answer to my question is very clearly stated on pages 11 and 12.
So I am a little bit ashamed and - very apologetic - of the above.
