Have you read Design Patterns by S.J. Metsker, and, if so,
what did you think of it?

Assuming you mean the C# one, Read it, love it. Chances are that if Addison
Wesley or APress put it out, it'll be pretty good (the only known violation
of that rule is Cooper's book on Design Patterns which EVERYONE has told me
to avoid like the plague). Chris Thilmany put out a book around the same
time called .NET Patterns that's also great - wonderful discussion on
enterprise patterns.

Yes I read Cooper's book. Going by the way it is written, Cooper is
an intelligent person - but his book - indeed - is a disaster. That is why
I want to read another book. Thank you for your response.
