Socket BeginSend/EndSend not sending full message

In another message thread and also in a message thread on a completely
different board, there have been references to BeginSend/EndSend not sending
a full message all the time. I know EndReceive doesn't always receive a full
message, and have coded for EndOFMessage markers etc. But Microsofts
documentation implies that if I say BeginSend(buffer, 0, bufferLength...)
it will send the entire buffer. Apparently some people think this may not be
the case and that EndSend has to check for bytes sent and possibly loop?

Does anyone have a link to any reference material on this issue? I'm trying
to research it, but other than a couple vague mentions of the possiblity, I
havent' found any meat.
