create a string array from string

I have a string that i have split into an array and what i would like to do
is go through each of the items in the array and parse 3 substrings for that
string:

string[] str = (temp.substr(start, temp.IndexOf("}", start))).split(";");

foreach(string s in str)

{

s = new string[] { s.substring(s.IndexOf("\\red", "\\blue")),

s.substring(s.IndexOf("\\blue", "\\green")),

s.substring(s.IndexOf("\\green", s.Length)) };

}

int[,] colortbl = new int[str.Length,3];

int x=r=0;

foreach( string[] s1 in temp)

{

foreach(string s2 in s1)

{

colortbl[x,r] = Int32.Parse(s2);

r++;

}

x++;

}

is this possible??
