late-binding with remoting

Hi,

is it possible to instantiate an object on a remote server using late-binding ?
(so the client does not need the info at compile time.)

I look at remoting, but all those methods 'force' us to provide the client with info
Activator.GetObject(), new Activator.CreateInstance()

thnx
Chris

Hi Chris,

You can utilize late binding by having an interface. You could pass the type
of the interface
and then actually pass the type which u need to cast it with. The type must
of course implement the interface.

Vikram
