You could use either of these ways:
Use the child's MDIParent property to get the parent form. Cast it to the
MDI parent type. Then set/use the properties of the parent.
Or, you could use a delegate to pass information from the child to some
method in the parent.

I have an application using c# that uses MDI. On some of the child
windows, I need to open a dialog that will communicate back with the MDI child. I
did not see any clear way to accomplich that in the documentation. Can
anyone point me toward an example or better documentation on how to do
this, please.
