Use Select Statement with RowFilter?

gj
Hi,

Can I use a select statement with a RowFilter? I have a dropdownlist
that is bound to the Quiz table. The quiz table has Quiz_ID,
Quiz_Name, Quiz_Number, Quiz_Version and other fields. Quiz_ID is the
primary key. Quiz_Number was the primary key to the original quiz and
Quiz_Version is the version of the quiz. What I do is create a Quiz
called Dog. I decide to edit the quiz Dog. I pull up Dog edit, my
field and save. When I save it, it inserts a new record in Quiz that
is a copy of Dog, but with my edits. There is a new Quiz_ID, Quiz_Name
is the same(Dog), Quiz_Number is Dog's original primary key and
Quiz_Version is now 2. I do this so that I can always recreate a quiz
someone took.

Quiz_ID Quiz_Name Quiz_Number Quiz_Version etc
------- --------- ----------- ------------
1 Dog 1 1
2 Cat 2 1
3 Dog 1 2
Can anyone help? Please
